So-called “special people” can indeed be special in teaching us to shed those layers that cover up our humanity. The character of Anita (Alejandra Manzo) exudes such a quiet life force that the toughest of armors will be pierced by her presence. The backdrop for the story is the 1994 bombing of the Jewish Center in Buenos Aires that killed 84 people and injured hundreds—>A+
A most compelling film to be presented at the upcoming St. Louis Film Festival.
