Eric Mühsam (m.) – murdered in 1934 in the Oranienburg concentration camp

Mühsam was arrested by Nazi officers, who shattered his teeth with repeated strikes of a rifle butt and branded a swastika on his scalp; eventually he was beaten to death and his body hung up in a latrine.
Erich Sander (r.), August Sander’s son,
was condemned to 10 years of jail and died there in 1944
