After a leader of Jobbik, the far-right party and part of the Hungarian Parliament asked for a list of Hungarian Jews: “I think such a conflict makes it timely to tally up people of Jewish ancestry who live here, especially in the Hungarian parliament and the Hungarian government, who, indeed, pose a national security risk to Hungary,” some Hungarian politicians chose to wear the Yellow Star in Parliament as a gesture of opposition to Jobbik.

The opposition “Democratic Coalition” also announced that they would ask the Prosecutors Office to initiate the dissolution of the Jobbik party.
Csaba Molnar called on the other parties in the parliament to exclude Jobbik in a form of political quarantine.
The « Democratic Coalition » also urged the Hungarian press not to interview politicians from Jobbik, nor invite them to appear on broadcast media.
Several politicians from the Democratic Coalition also wore the yellow star during a press conference and while taking part in the plenary session of the National Assembly on Tuesday.
